A world premiere, cowritten by (and starring) Roots-associated rapper Karl “Dice Raw” Jenkins, based on the true story of Henry “Box” Brown, who escaped slavery in 1849 by hiding in a wooden box mailed from Richmond, Va., to Philadelphia.
